Zusammenfassung
Hintergrund: In Deutschland entwickelt sich die Physiotherapieforschung stetig. Da es sich dabei
vorrangig um Forschung am Menschen handelt, müssen auch ethische Standards berücksichtigt
werden.
Ziel: Der Artikel zeigt eine Bestandsaufnahme ethischer Forschungsstandards, die für die
Physiotherapieforschung in Deutschland relevant sind.
Methode: Es wurde eine Literaturrecherche zu weltweiten und deutschen rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen
forschungsethischer Standards durchgeführt, die die Basis für die Physiotherapieforschung
bilden.
Ergebnisse: Im 1. Teil werden welt- und europaweite Standards der Forschungsethik und im 2. Teil
deutsche Regularien aufgezeigt, die auch in der Physiotherapieforschung eingehalten
werden sollten.
Schlussfolgerungen: Für die physiotherapeutische Forschung in Deutschland müssen ethische Richtlinien
für den Forschungsprozess entwickelt und Richtlinien in Bezugsdisziplinen sowie bestehende
Standards (z. B. Good Clinical Practice Guidelines) angewendet werden. Die Einrichtung einer Ethikkommission ist zu begrüßen.
Abstract
Background: In Germany physiotherapy research is constantly developing. Since it predominantly
involves human subjects ethical standards must be considered.
Objective: The article presents a survey of ethical standards in research relevant to physiotherapy
research in Germany.
Method: A literature research was performed both on German and international legal framework
of research ethical standards which are considered to be the basis for physiotherapy
research.
Results: The first part of the article portrays international and European research ethical
standards. The second part points out German regulations that are thought to be respected
in physiotherapy research.
Conclusions: For the physiotherapy research process in Germany ethical guidelines must be established
and guidelines in related disciplines as well as existing standards (i. e. good clinical
practice guidelines) must be implemented. The establishment of an ethics committee
is a welcome sign.
